Update July 2018: I will be hosting an information meeting with City Staff and the developer on the new retail development located at 5100 Kanata Avenue. The meeting will be on July 16, 7pm at the Mlacak Centre (Hall C), and residents are welcome to attend to give their comments and learn more about the development.
Update June 2018: A new application for a commercial shopping centre consisting of five one-storey commercial buildings has been submitted. Note that this area was zoned as commercial (and is beside the senior’s residence). Click here for more details on the application.

Description: The development of a retirement residence with a gross floor area of approximately 4,800 square metres. The residence will include 143 units ranging from studios to 2 bedroom suites, and will include outdoor amenity space. A total of 100 parking spaces will be provided outdoors and in three small parking garages, and 36 bicycle parking spaces will also be provided. The site will have access from Gouldbourn Forced Road via a full movement intersection. The building will be three storeys, with the east and west wings stepping down to two storeys, and the front façade of the building will face south.
