Call for volunteers

A message from the Transportation Action Committee Kanata North (TACK)

TACK is a group of residents who promote and improve active transportation options in Kanata North.  Two years ago TACK developed and published the first edition of a cycling map that details all of the cycling routes in Kanata North and rates them by difficulty level.  This map, which was distributed free of charge through local schools, the Richcraft Recreation Complex and the Beaverbrook library, proved to be very popular throughout the community.  TACK is now preparing a second edition of this popular cycling map and it’s almost ready for printing.  In order to offset the cost of printing, advertising space will be included around the perimeter of the map.

TACK is currently looking for a volunteers to join their team in canvassing local businesses who might want to have an advertisement included on the map.  If you have a few hours to help out in bringing the second edition of the map to print-run ready status (or if you are associated with a local business or organization who would like to place an advertisement on the map) please send an email to  A member of the TACK committee will then contact you.  Thank you for your help and support.
