City Operations

Residents are advised to exercise patience and caution as they move through the City transportation network. Some delays are to be expected for the Thursday morning commute with snow covered roads and blowing conditions. Staff are monitoring weather forecasts and are patrolling roads and will deploy and make changes to plowing resources over the transportation network as necessary as the weather or road conditions change.

City contracts have been exercised for snow removal throughout the City. City staffed snow removal crews are being deployed from the various maintenance yards across the City on snow removal.

Staff are presently deployed and continue to plow and salt the priority road and sidewalk network. Night shift staff will be in for 7 pm to continue the plowing and salting of the road and sidewalk network along with snow removal crews through the overnight.

We will continue to provide operational updates as weather conditions change or road condition changes.
