September 24 Public Open House Innovation Park and Ride

This will be the final public meeting. The purpose of the public information session is to display the preliminary design drawings boards. Residents are encouraged to view the drawings and provide feedback and comments with respect to the design.

The City of Ottawa invites you to attend a Public Information Session to discuss a construction project planned in your neighbourhood.

Why: The City will be designing and constructing a new Park and Ride facility at Innovation Drive/Terry Fox Drive. This new facility is included in both the Transportation Master Plan  and the Official Plan.

What: Construction of Phase 1 of the Innovation Park and Ride, including: new intersections on Terry Fox Drive, Innovation Drive and Goulbourn Forced Road to access the facility; and a transit station, parking lot and access roads within the facility.

When: Construction of Phase 1 of the Park and Ride is scheduled to begin in the spring of 2016, although the City will be clearing the site of trees during the fall of 2015.

Where: The site is bordered by Terry Fox Drive, Innovation Drive, Goulbourn Forced Road and the Monk Environmental Park.

At the Public Meeting you will be able to review the preliminary plans for the entire project. Representatives from the City, the design consultant and the Ward Councillor, Marianne Wilkinson, will be available to discuss the project and to answer your questions.
