Celebrate Father’s Day at Ottawa’s historic sites

Bring your dad to a City of Ottawa historic site this Sunday, June 16 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and take part in the great activities planned for Father’s Day.

Billings Estate National Historic Site

Check out the grooviest cars, take part in a far out scavenger hunt or tie-dyeing activity, dress up as a flower child, or even make your own funky lava lamp! You’ll be jazzed about what we’ve got planned for you and dad at the Estate. Cost: $6/person and $16/family

Cumberland Heritage Village Museum

Spend quality time with the ones you love at the museum. Play board games and activities that were favourites of children in the 1920s and 1930s. Giant versions of some classic games will also be scattered throughout the site for the whole family to enjoy. Cost: $7/person and $18/family

Pinhey’s Point Historic Site

Take part in an amazing race with dad! Which family will win? Come by to find out! Race around the site completing challenges like the melon roll or turkey-toss, or complete a game of graces. Check out your family’s time on the leader board – the fastest group will win a prize! Cost: $6/person and $16/family
