Update October 15, 2018: I received a draft plan of subdivision from the owner. This is not an official plan and the owner has not submitted this to the City. Update August 3rd: Although a sales agreement has been signed for these lands, it is conditional on obtaining zoning for the site. The purchaser has made the submission and is working with the City to obtain approval. He has created a plan for 49 townhouse units on the site, which in my view is too many. As a result of the public meeting many of you attended he has agreed to make revisions which, when sent to the City, I will review with the community. Please watch my newsletter and attend my Town Hall meetings for further information.

An application for 49 two-storey townhouses at 1158 Old Second Line Road has been submitted. I’ve met with planners on the file to express my concerns about the density, parking, open space, snow storage and more. I appreciate all the comments submitted and the concerns of residents. Do come to the public meeting where you can hear from City Planners and the Developer’s representative and express your concerns and suggestions to them directly.
